Student-Faculty Roundtable

Description

SF Roundtables is an initiative missioned around providing a safe and comfortable space for candid discussion between students and faculty in CNS. Specifically, the roundtable themed around COVID-19 encouraged students and faculty to speak about their concerns, ideas, and feedback regarding the educational experience during virtual learning. Students were placed in breakout rooms with faculty members and were able to have meaningful discussion while feeling heard and respected by their educators. Likewise, faculty members were encouraged to use this space as a platform for gaining valuable student input on the effective ways of teaching and gained insight on how to best support students not only during our current status of virtual learning but also the upcoming transition to in-person learning. We hope that future roundtables can pose a comfortable space for more meaningful discussion between our students and faculty.
